FAQ - Departmental Web Pages

Question:

People from various departments call the Helpdesk seeking help to update or create their department web pages. They also have new members to add to publishing groups.

What steps do they take?

Answer:

For new publishing group members: The responsible party needs to contact the Help Desk at 282-HELP and request that they or other group members have the Rights to publish to their department web site.

Once a person has the publishing rights, they may create or update their department web pages at will.

If a person wants assistance with designing a web page or help updating a web page, they should contact Web Communications for help. Web Communications has staff available for this purpose.
