FAQ - Print Documents in Reverse Order
![]() |
Problem:
As students, we've all been there: Your assignment is due now. Pick your reason as to why it's a last minute thing ... again. You have just finished writing it and are now printing it out. Your home deskjet printer pushes the first page out face up. The second page falls on top of the first one, face up and the third page falls face up on top of the second. In other words the pages are in reverse order in the tray. You hurriedly get ready for class while it's printing. You grab the document and race out the door to class. It's raining. Because of the rain, you don't want to collate several pages while running to class. What can you do to make the first page of your document come out on top so you can avoid this scenario?
Solution:
You can set up both Word and Word Perfect to print your document in reverse order. Here's how.
Word 2002:
- Open your Word document
- Click File
- Select Print
- Click the Options button
- Check the Reverse Print Order box
- Click OK to close the Print Options window.
- Click OK to start printing

Word Perfect 10:
- Open your Word Perfect document
- Click File
- Select Print
- Put a check mark in the Print in reverse order box

- Click the Print button to start printing.
