FAQ - How does network printing work at ISU?

How does network printing work at ISU?

It is possible to print to a networked printer. Here at ISU our network print jobs are managed with IP addresses

ISU network printing uses the IP address of the printer in order to send the printer a print job. There are many print management settings that may be set, but generally the printer will print out jobs on a first come, first serve basis.

The disadvantage of network printing is that once a job is sent, there is generally no way to manage it from the operating system.
