How do I set my printer for duplex printing?

Solution:

Duplex Printing is only available on machines which are designed for it. Look at the instructions for that model to determine if it can duplex print or look through the printer configuration.

Duplex printing can be turned on and off through the printer settings window If your Default printer is a duplex printer.

There are 2 ways to access the duplex printer configuration area.

  1. A printer pop-up window will appear when you issue a print command.
    1. Click on the Properties button.
    2. Click the Details tab
    3. Select or Deselect duplex printing.
  2. Go into the printer setup directly to change the options.
    1. Select: Start, Settings, Printers.
    2. Find the printer you want and right mouse click on the icon.
    3. Select Properties
    4. The duplex or print on both sides option is not always located in the same area.
    5. Try the Paper tab
    6. Select the More Options button.
    7. Select which way you want to flip the page.
    8. Click OK
    9. Click Apply and OK
